After we finished reading "The Hobbit" at the hospital, we started a family book club. At our most recent discussion, Maria was telling us that her favorite character is Gandalf...she's obviously very serious about this preference. She raised a bit of a stink when I told her that I would not dye her hat gray, but it turns out that she just literally, had a bit of a stink...Poor Maria has grown accustomed to me sticking a camera in her face whenever she's awake...
Her Godmother Angie came by yesterday. Angie has been with us during Maria's transfusion IV sticks and bradycardia's at the hospital...we were so glad that she could cuddle a healthy Maria!
One of Maria's biggest fans: Melissa has been very helpful holding Maria while I organize and re-organize various piles of "stuff". Melissa is always good for a laugh, a cup of coffee (and who are we kidding, a glass of wine) and now baby holder. Dr. Nick even stopped by to say Hello.
Maria- you are your father's daughter, he dressed up as Gandalf in 3rd grade or was it 4th when he gave a report on the Hobbit. I am sure it will become one of your favorite books. You guys are a stitch... so funny. Glad to see your friends stopping by to visit.
