This hat Maria is wearing inspired her latest nickname in the NICU. Maria the Muffin Maker is the latest in a string of many nicknames that people have assigned to Maria. Other names she's been assigned: Little Sweetie, Sassy Pants, Little Bumble, Honey Bear, Sugar Plum, tomato face (usually used post-transfusion).
Well, she is sure a pretty little Muffin Maker!
ReplyDeleteHer latest picture shows so much growth. Her cheeks look like she's been eatin' some o' those muffins, not just makin' 'em. Her face is filling out all over. You mentioned a c-section. Did her mom have one? This is the 1st I heard that part of the story. I'm just so glad she has the peaceful environment for her growth to happen in. You 2 are providing her w/ the kind of environment she needs to do what she needs to do--grow & develop in her own time frame. Kudos to all 3 of you. God is blessing you abundantly. gramma

She is absolutely precious and beautiful. I can not get over how cute she is. I am going to have to come see you as soon as classes end. I can not stay away. That and I've never come out there, which is atrocious of me.
