We got into a discussion with the nurses at Shriners Hospital today. They were asking how big Maria's head currently is. Is it the size of an orange...? ...a grapefruit...? ...a baseball...? ...a tennis ball...?
Well, here's our first chance to have fun at the expense of our dear daughter. How big do you think Maria's head is? Consider her weight...the photos we've posted...your own experience with preemies... Here are the rules:
You must guess the size as of today's date and you must give your answer in a comparable object, not in head circumference.
As a prize, we will buy the winner something "cool" the size of Maria's head. You may post your answers in the comment section, or email your answer to Joe at dewittjo@msu.edu
(something tells me that the Seale girls and the Rzepka girls will have a lot of fun with this!)

Ok- Busha will come up with an object the size of Maria's head. At this time I am leaning towards a cantalope, but the normal size, not a rock mellon. Can we enter more thatn once??
ReplyDeleteOk- since no one else has replied as yet I change my answer for the size of Maria's head- I guessed to large I think- I want to say Maria's head is the size of a "Softball" that is my official answer.

ReplyDeleteI'd give my guess, but I don't think it's fair since I just saw her... or it would be embarassing because I've just seen her, and I'd still get it wrong... I'd say the size of her head is *perfect*

ReplyDeleteUgh! Paul and I were going to say the size of an orange as well, not the those baby oranges, but an orange that is smaller then a softball. But do we have to guess different since Grampa Witt guessed orange?
